A post-doctoral fellow having completed PhD in Mechanical or allied areas is desired. The candidate must have atleast two SCI papers and possess a good academic background. The project is sponsored by Volvo and the candidate will be expected to lead the development of a model to determine capacity fading and Lithium-plating mechanisms in Lithium-ion batteries.

The position will be for a period of 12 months from the date of joining or September 2025, whichever is earlier. The monthly salary will be Rs. 80,000 per month (includes HRA). Hostel or on-campus accommodation will not be provided to the selected candidate due to a shortage of rooms in IITD. The selected candidate will be expected to make his/her own arrangements for stay in Delhi.
