3rd edition of Batch of 1969 Innovation Fellow Award
Award: Stipend of Rs. 1.00 Lakh/month for 1 year.
Eligibility: IIT Delhi’s graduating student irrespective of any discipline/program (UG/PG/PhD) wanting to continue with his/her academic project to convert it into a ‘Proof of Concept’ and development of prototype can apply for the award. The ultimate objective should be to create a product/process through technology transfer/incubation. Selection criteria shall include Innovation, feasibility, entrepreneurial interest, investment potential, expected impact etc.
Beneficiary: Once accepted, disbursal of the stipend shall start on completion of academic program/submission of the thesis. Support to the incubation proposal from another agency/scheme is desirable but not necessary for consideration of the Award. Alternatively, the applicant should have a letter of support from his/her present faculty adviser stating that the applicant can continue working using the Institute’s infrastructure and resources to pursue the proposed innovation project.
FITT will guide the awardee in preparing a business/technical plan and pitching for investments.
Initial screening shall be done by FITT and final selection for the Award shall be done by an expert committee.

Mr Anand Yadav has been selected for the Batch of 1969 Innovation Fellow Award for his project on “Development of Smart Fabric based actuator for Pain Management in Long Standing Professionals and athletes”
